Sleek and Spicy website header Tutorial - Web 2.0 Style

In this tutorial I am going to teach you how to make a nice sleek looking mockup for a website header.
It should look like this: Click here.

select pattern

Select the thick pin stripes pattern.

Pattern
make sure you delete the background layer to be a transparent background. and not white. Than go to edit>Define pattern>give it a name "thickpin" and click ok.

Now final item - the login button.

Would be useful to have more images to show what it should look like at the current stage.

Also, a final html and/or image preview of the finished version.

Sorry there is already an image preview there, but I mean in xhtml.

hey.. is there any provision for the user details as in we hav to change the Username and Pass txtbox after he logs in.. and also hw to put a textbox there…

some steps were confusing. i think i may still be a comparitive newbie but it might be worthwhile to add more detailed descriptions of the exact steps required at each stage.
